The goal of this project
Users are free to add entries to the dynamic lists without registration. Same goes for editing possible out-of-date information.
Because anyone can add and edit the data we encourage you to share the website only within groups that you trust.
To submit a new entry (prisons, companies, prisoners) and keep anonymity open the TOR Browser. (Its a normal browser, don’t be scared about. it’s really easy to use it, it’s based on mozilla but helps you keep anonymous by routing your connection through multiple nodes around the world, like an onion with many layers! It means it is a little slower, but worth the anonymity. go to the corrisponding page of what you wanna add and just reply to the form you found there. Press the button submit and that’s it.
Please be mindful about what data you put on this website, and remember that its purpose is to give solidarity to the prisoners and to keep up the struggles against prisons, migrants detention centers and all the scum that gain money, power and profit from this system.

About this project
We wish to point out where and to whom the struggle can be directed, not what the struggle may or may not look like: we believe it is possible and useful for us to have different practices and approaches, and that we can make it our stength.
We created this website because we find it important to change the methods by which information about our imprisoned comrades is collected and then disseminated.
Prison isolates and alienates the imprisoned, making their daily lives boring and dull.
We find it obvious that the small token that is a letter from someone outside can have an impact – give back some color to one’s daily life.
We believe letters can be a means to show complicity – from those who struggle outside the prison walls towards those who struggle within. They can also be an instrument of coordination, to act simultaneously on several fronts against the prison institution. We hope this thought brings strength and warmth to the daily lives and struggles of those imprisoned.
We have open up an online space where information can be looked up, added and updated in a collective way. And in doing so we wish to merge the ideological gap that we see within the movement that separates administrative and criminal detention, prisons for human animals and prisons for non-human animals.
We think it is important to spread out the struggle that occurs outside the prison, in terms of methods and participants. We want to open up a space where for each prison can be outlined the long list of companies that provide services that make the prison institution possible.
By studying its structure, its weaknesses become clear.
While it is true that a maximum-security prison is hardly expugnable, it nevertheless requires supplies and services that only outside companies can offer. Companies that can be found scattered throughout the territories where we live, sometimes in multiple locations and holding multiple business interests. Any one of them can be a good insight for a struggle inside a prison to resonate. Take a deep breath and attack.
If we can grasp the needs of the enemy – understand how it expands in the territory – how the state needs to collaborate with private companies to ensure the prison machine can keep crushing lives, then we can also understand how to stop it, slow down its restructuring processes, perhaps prevent the opening of new ones or the expansion of existing ones.
When people who are incarcerated start a struggle within the prison against maintenance costs or against the costs of living, and from the outside you are able to express your dissent, in your own ways, towards the companies specifically involved in the prisoners’ struggle you can make sure that the pressure comes from outside as well as inside and you can make something change. Not just shouting slogans in front of a wall or distributing flyers in the neighborhood: our struggles can also be expressed in more imaginative ways. By diversifying our actions and sharing information internationally about what is happening in our own countries’ prisons and who are the companies involved.

Through initiatives of struggle and direct actions we think it is possible to improve and develop relationships between inside and outside the prison walls.
We think that in order to break the isolation of those who are imprisoned, it is necessary for the struggles outside and inside those damned walls to talk to each other again. We feel it’s wrong to expect that inmates alone should come up with novel insights and ideas.
We decided to start this site for thousands of reasons. Because we think it is important to establish networks of support and solidarity. Because we need to share any and all useful information and be able to equip ourselves with new functional tools that can allow us to quickly learn new information and to give some information back.
The system is vast and and seemingly unassailable, but it is within its disheartening pervasiveness that lies its weakness.
