Aldo was arrested on 22 December 2022, accused of attacking the National Directorate of Gendarmerie with an explosive device in December 2021. He is charged with the attack and 16 counts of attempted homicide, as there were prison guards in the building at the time of the detonation, and charges of possession of weapons and ammunition during the raid.
